Top Sightings:
Rarities, endemics, and exceptional birding experiences!
- Blond-crested Woodpecker, Saffron Toucanet, and Spot-billed Toucanet at the lodge feeders
- Sara’s close Sharpbill perched unusually low in a tree at Serra Dos Orgoas National Park
- Fabulous views of Sharp-tailed Streamcreeper and a cracking Brazilian Antthrush under the boardwalk
- Plovercrest perched right in front of us at Pico de Caledonia
- No binoculars needed looks at Black-cheeked Gnateater and Pin-tailed Manakin on the lodge trails
- Amazingly close views of two Eared Pygmy-Tyrants on the CEDAE Trail
- Excellent views of Three-toed Jacamar
- Four Blackish Rails emerging from reedy marsh earning Steve a beer from Andy
